One file to download, one quick install — then activate with your license key and you’re set.
The Desktop Companion requires a license key to activate. When the app launches for the first time, you’ll be prompted to enter your key. If you don’t have one yet, request a key by emailing admin@unaded.com — we’ll get back to you with your key and next steps.
Once the installer finishes, you can delete the downloaded zip file — it’s no longer needed. Launch the app any time from the Start Menu or Desktop shortcut. The app keeps itself up to date automatically.
To remove the app later, go to Settings → Apps → Installed apps, find Unaded.com Desktop Companion, and click Uninstall. Your settings and toolbar layout are preserved in case you reinstall.
If your IT department, security team, or workstation administrator would like to inspect the application before approving installation, the individual files that ship inside the installer are available below for independent download. Both are plain text — no compilation, no obfuscation, no third-party runtime — and can be opened in Notepad, VS Code, or any text editor for review.
